Number 7.
Blog about anything technology related. It is so amazing to me how much we rely on technology. What would we do if we had no mobile phones or internet? Now you can get the internet on your phone! Who doesn't love paying their bills online? It seems like it has made the world much smaller. We can access so many things whenever we want. I love that we can be connected with friends with e mail, and mobile phones, especially when things are busy, but sometimes it is nice to just be with those people, talk to them face to face, or to get a letter in the mailbox on your street! Technology has made things a lot easier though, and it is so exciting to be learning more about it.

More With Flickr
Here is a photo I took outside the Medical Lake Library in the parking lot. It is the middle of April, and this is what is left of a huge snow pile. You can see my shadow as I took the picture too. I added about 12 pictures to my flickr account under the SCLD2 tag. Here is the link to my photo stream.

Discovering Flickr
Here I am on number 5!
So, Flickr, it is overwhelming! There are so many fun things to make. I love the framer tool and the world map. I also want to spell it with an "e" in there! Where is the "e"? Anyway, I did post this photo that is from the Library of Congress in The Commons. What I like about it is, the girl just seems happy to to be collecting eggs, and the chicken looks happy too. Next I am going to try adding my own photos to my Flickr account, but first, I must remember to bring my camera to work!

One More Thing
One more thing for the day. I already feel very techy for making this blog. I have wanted to start a blog since reading Sleep is for the Weak, which is a compilation of some various mommy blogs. A great read by the way! When I get this work blog up and going, I am going to do a mommy blog too. Just thought I should keep them separate!
Here I am!
O.K. Here I am, actually on my very own blog! I feel so grown up! This is so exciting, and is going to be such fun, I can hardly wait.
So, we are supposed to write about our habits for lifelong learning. I would say the hardest one for me is 4, having confidence in myself as a competent, and effective learner. I tend to second guess myself on so many things. The easist for me would be 1 and 2. I try to think about the goal first, and then how best to get there. I also accept responsibility for my own learning, because no one is going to do if for me!
So, here we go!
